I was invited by Culture First to create a song around their beautiful conference and the people joining from around the world to discuss and share similarities and differences in their field of HR.
As I began working on it, I kept having this image emerge of business as an ecosystem, very similar to what we find in nature. HR is its own ecosystem, except all the plants have feelings, and the trees have to make money!
I wanted to write something celebrating the beauty of this complexity and interconnectedness, and the people spending their time creating living environments where humans can thrive.
I also wanted to include a mantra that I've felt throughout this collaboration, to always return to the human aspect in everything we do - the heart.
This is called "Nobody Works Alone."
